What is coming for Harry Potter fans in 2019?

This year was filled with a cursed child and some fantastic beasts but what does 2019 have in store for fans of the Harry Potter series.

Honestly, the only big news coming for Harry Potter fans in 2019 is the fact that we’re getting a new Harry in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. So does that mean we’re not going to get anything coming out later in the year?

Of course not! We could still have lots of Potter news throughout the year but, going into 2019, we don’t know what to expect from the Boy Who Lived. There have been rumors about a show that we could get sometime in the future but, right now, there is no concrete news.

For me, I personally hope that we do, in fact, get a chance to see some kind of television show for Harry Potter or at least one of the characters we have come to love. I’ve always wanted them to tell the Marauders story with a show and maybe 2019 is finally going to be the time for us to see James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, and, unfortunately, Peter Pettigrew all together again.

Until we know anything, we can look forward to a new Harry Potter taking over the Broadway stage and revisit the series to keep us intrigued but, as of right now, there isn’t too much on the horizon for Harry and all his friends. Hopefully, that will change though and we can finally get some television series about our favorite boy!
