Everything we know about the new Harry Potter Universal Theme Ride

A new Harry Potter theme ride is coming to Universal in 2019. Here is everything we know about the new adventure for Wizarding World fans so far.

As we look forward to the New Year, it’s time to look forward at all the good things on the way for Wizarding World fans. One thing is the new Harry Potter theme ride at Universal. It is currently under construction but is expected to arrive in 2019. Here is everything we know so far about the new roller coaster ride.

First up is it is expected to launch in 2019. When precisely is not yet know. But it is expected to open up for all to enjoy at some point during the year. There is always the possibility of a delay and therefore a push back of the launch until 2020. But everything appears to be running on time so far.

As of writing we do not yet have an official name for the ride. Which is why we are just going around calling it the new Harry Potter themed ride. Universal is keeping much about the new ride a closely guarded secret. Only letting out news when they feel like it.

However, in saying that. It is suspected that the name will have something to do with Hogsmeade. This is because the ride is believed to venture out of Hogwarts Castle and venture into the Forbidden Forest and beyond the grounds into the famous Wizarding World village

This seems to be holding true as Universal has brought in trees, as in actual trees, hundreds of them, to be planted around the track. The aim is this will give a much more realistic effect for those who partake in the adventure.  Also, instead of a typical carriage to ride on, it is believed that Hagrid’s motorcycle will be the mode of transport during the ride.

From everything we know so far, which let’s face it, is pretty much next to nothing really. The new Harry Potter themed ride is already shaping up to be something extraordinary. Fans can certainly look forward to it’s arrival in 2019.
