âI love Hillary,â Kanye West says, but the campaign âIâm With Herâ didnât make me feel like a guy that could play catch with his son," adding his âMake America Great Againâ hat made him âfeel like Supermanâ #tictocnews pic.twitter.com/PKQFHLqAWp

3. Kanye West
Oh, Kanye.
Heâs made it into the political sections of your newspapers and favorite newsfeeds quite a bit this year, and bite always in the most flattering manner. Whether Kanye Westâs seemingly newly expressed views are a genuine thing or an attempt to stay in the public consciousness relations are to be determined.
What has Kanye been up to? Mostly, it looks like buddying up with one Donald Trump, the man currently situated in the White House as President of the United States. âBuddyâ may be a bit too friendly of a word, given Trumpâs spotty past record with people of color, and Westâs sometimes bizarre behavior.
Perhaps most notable was Westâs visit to the Oval Office in October, where even Trump seemed trapped behind his big desk as West rambled about⌠well, it wasnât entirely clear. Air Force One? Bipolar disorder? Something that he a little alarmingly termed to be âmale energyâ?
One of the most quoted portions of the 10 minute monologue was Kanyeâs love of his bright red âMake America Great Againâ, or MAGA, hat. âThere was something about when I put this hat on that made me feel like Superman. Thatâs my favorite hero,â he told Trump. âYou made a Superman cape for me.â
If that werenât confusing enough, Kanyeâs newfound Republican views started to wither soon after. Reportedly, West felt that he was being used by conservatives as a kind of poster boy, which didnât cotton to his independent style. Later in October, he wrote on Twitter: âI am distancing myself from politics and completely focusing on being creative !!!â
