By Callum Gunn
Illustrated is the latest Harry Potter editions Potterheads are in demand for and we are all waiting for books 4. So when is the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire illustrated edition release date?
The vast majority of Potterheads, I’m thinking about 90% of them, have at least one collection of Harry Potter books. Some Potterheads have multiple. And some have them all. The illustrated editions are the hottest editions to collect right now and many fans are wanting to know when the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire illustrated edition release date is?
Initially pegged for a 2018 release date in order to keep with the yearly release timetable that was set for the Harry Potter illustrated editions. You have probably guessed by now that that plan is no longer going ahead.

This decision was made so Jim Kay would have more time to work on the illustrations required for the upcoming novel. A fair decision really when you consider how big Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is compared to the previous three novels.
The fourth installment is the second to largest book of the Wizarding World franchise. In comparison to the previous novels. Philosopher’s Stone is roughly 225 pages long, Chamber of Secrets 250 pages, and Prisoner of Azkaban 300 pages.
Goblet of Fire is over 600 pages. So obviously Jim Kay needs to do more illustrations compared to what he has done already. So I suppose it’s fair enough really that the release date has been pushed back to 2019.
When specifically in 2019 has not yet been announced. As soon as it is revealed we will let you know.
