Metro Exodus Feb. 15, 2019

This is the third game in the Metro series based off the Dmitry Glukhovsky novels. It’s the first one where you’re actively playing more above ground than in the metro system, or at least that’s what the trailers make it look like.

So if you’re looking for your horror game fix, put this one on your list.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice – March 22, 2019

This comes from the developers of Dark Souls and Bloodborne, so expect very difficult but very rewarding gameplay while you make your way through the game.

Honestly, I’ve nearly broken multiple controllers for those other two series. This one will also introduce true stealth combat into the game.

Days Gone – April 26, 2019

If you’re looking for a video game where a horde of enemies doesn’t just mean a dozen, but can be a literal horde (think: hundreds), this will be your jam. The gameplay looks terrifying, especially if you’re intimidated by large numbers.

But it’ll be worth it.

The Last of Us 2 – TBD

Here’s another TBD game that we’re dying to play. The Last of Us still resonates with my very being, and the trailers for The Last of Us 2 bring back that feeling and make this wait almost unbearable.

A mix of great stealth play and high action, Naughty Dog’s darker side looks just as glorious and heartbreaking as it did before.

Final Fantasy VII Remake – TBA

Much like Kingdom Hearts, what can really be said as to why this is on our list? People have been waiting for this game since an E3 stage demo back for the PlayStation 3. They finally announced it as an actual thing a few years ago, and we’re still salivating and hoping it comes out this year.
