10 of Aquaman’s thirstiest moments on the big screen

1. Permission to come aboard

Our very first look at Jason Momoa in his solo Aquaman film comes courtesy of his arrival on a submarine that Black Manta (who is not Black Manta just yet) and his father have taken over. As a shirtless Momoa comes aboard the sub, he glances back over his shoulder in a way that we can only describe as naughty, and asks for “permission to come aboard.”

This moment was enough for us to be sold on the thirst factor of the film, even as it is also an important scene for future characters’ development. Honestly, we were more than ready to give Aquaman permission to do whatever he wanted in that moment, and his heroic actions saving the surviving crew of the sub convinced us that he is one of our favorite DC characters.

2. Taking on the guards

He may not have been shirtless in this scene, but Momoa’s Arthur Curry has an innate sexiness that he exudes even fully dressed and ready for battle. As Arthur takes on guards sent to arrest him for illegally entering Atlantis, we see the fierce warrior he can be, as well as that naughty look.

Not only does he appear to give a glance over his shoulder, as he did on the submarine, but his ability to take on all challengers was definitely hot. Of course, he was unsuccessful in taking on the guards, but we were still all in on this skirmish.
