Spending the holidays with Harry Potter and all of his friends

For some reason, we love to revisit the Harry Potter series during the holidays and so what does it mean to spend the season with Harry and his friends?

With Harry Potter, we tend to rewatch them at the same time of year all the time. If it isn’t during the summer, it is at Halloween time and then, again, during the holiday season. Maybe it is because we have free time during those times of the year or maybe it is just because it reminds us of the season but it is fun to revisit what we love about the magical world of Potter.

Is it because the season is all about magic itself? Maybe because we love thinking that this magical being brings presents to us all. So maybe we like the idea that Harry and his friends are using magic to bring joy to their own families, especially now that Harry is out of Hogwarts.

Or maybe it is just because the series reminds us of our childhoods. Whatever the case may be, it is a wonderful time to sit down with your family and friends and watch the Harry Potter series again and remember what it is about this story we love so much. He’s just a boy who is given a wonderfully crazy life and it makes us want to root for Harry Potter.

May you get all your Potter gift wishes this holiday season and, if not, you can always go back and watch the movies over and over again to just relive the magic.
