Is Harry Potter on Netflix US?

The Harry Potter movies are by far one of the most in-demand movies in the world. So Netflix must have them right? Is Harry Potter on Netflix US?
Everything seems to be on Netflix right now. All of your big name TV shows and movies are on the streaming network available to watch as often as we like. Considering how big the Wizarding World fandom is, you would think Netflix would have acquired the rights and added the Wizarding World movies to the streaming network. So, is Harry Potter on Netflix US?
Unfortunately, the answer is not a good one. Harry Potter is not, at the time of writing anyway, on Netflix US. That could change in the future. But as things stand, right this second, the Wizarding World movies are not Netflix US.

There is a strong possibility that it will become available in the future. As Netflix has acquired the rights to add the Wizarding World movies to their network outside of the US.
France and Belguim currently have all eight movies available to stream. Australia and New Zealand recently announced they are about to have the movies added to their platform in Jan. 2019. And Canada has Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them on theirs. So you can see that Netflix is slowly adding them where they can.

In terms of when Netflix US is likely to add the movies, it’s a long way off. HBO held the license to air the movies up until 2018 where they passed it on to SYFY and The USA Network. With SYFY and The USA Network acquiring the rights for the movies so recently. It is unlikely they are going to pass them on to another network, like Netflix anytime soon.
