Arya will steal Jaime’s face

With Jaime’s stor line leaning toward redemption, it’s easy to forget that he’s done some pretty terrible things to the Stark family—things that could easily land him on Arya’s bad side, even if he isn’t quite on her kill list. And if he is riding north to Winterfell, it’s likely the two characters’ paths will cross once again. Arya might take advantage of that moment, viewing it as an opportunity to cross Cersei’s name off her list in the process.

If Arya does kill Jaime, she can just as easily use his face to stroll into the Red Keep as Littlefinger’s—although this would create more tension between House Stark and House Lannister, and Cersei might be happier to see Littlefinger than Jaime at this point.

Still, Arya stealing Jaime’s face to kill Cersei would place an interesting twist on Maggy’s valonqar prophecy. Technically, Cersei’s weakness for her younger brother would be her downfall in this situation, even if Jaime isn’t really the one to plunge the knife into her back.

Fans have also pointed out that Arya Stark is left-handed, something that’s revealed during her training sessions with Syrio Forel. And though actress Maisie Williams has had to learn to use her left hand to fight, the producers of the show have kept the character left-handed throughout all seven seasons. Some fans believe this trait might have been emphasized because it coincides with Jaime’s new left-handedness.

If this is true, Jaime fans might not be thrilled by how the eighth season of Game of Thrones unfolds. Of course, Arya could potentially fulfill the prophecy without using Jaime’s face to do so.
