New Girl may have ended this past May, but thankfully, you can still spend some quality time with Jess, Nick, Schmidt, Winston, and Cece over on Netflix! If you’ve never watched it before, you get to experience Jess meeting her new roommates for the first time and enjoy the awkward moments before they finally found their footing. If you’re rewatching for the millionth time, you can get excited about certain people — don’t wanna spoil anything — finally hooking up!

For those who have never watched New Girl, it follows a school teacher named Jess Day who finds out her boyfriend has been cheating on her, so she immediately moves out and moves into a loft that she saw listed on Craigslist with three new roommates: Nick, Schmidt, and Coach (who gets replaced by Winston after the pilot, supposedly to live with his girlfriend). Jess is a quirky girl’s kind of girl who wears a lot of patterned dresses, so living with three men is definitely an adjustment, which is why the show is so funny.

Over the seasons you get to see the group’s romantic misadventures, of which there are plenty, as well as how they grow and bond as roommates and eventually become the closest of friends. We also meet Cece, Jess’ beautiful childhood friend who all the guys fawn over, because honestly who doesn’t fawn over her? Look at her!

New Girl is perfect for a good, long binge session because it’s lighthearted and fun, and even when things get a little more serious, usually Schmidt will burst in and do something to make you laugh again.
