As I write this, holiday parties are now in full swing. Christmas is near and 2019 plans are already taking shape, and many of us seem to be scrambling to get everything done before we turn on that satisfying out-of-office messages.

Some of you may be checking this out purely for entertainment, because you are responsible adults, and already have the rest of 2018 figured out. You get a gold star! That was the print on my 2017-18 New Year’s Eve dress, by the way. And last year I even had time to craft a halo headpiece made out of bamboo skewers, à la Beyoncé at the 2017 Grammys. (Ended up being a trend at the Met Gala this year. So yeah, you can all thank Beyoncé and me.)

I digress.

Consider yourself lucky, though, if you haven’t found that you’re sliding into the holi-DAZE. One side effect is that we will get to begrudgingly pay high shipping costs, just so that we can still end up looking like we have it together. Fear not, fellow procrastinators!
