Robe: Yoshi Hooded Robe

You know what? Yoshi has the right idea. Eat, sleep, occasionally carry some babies around while making sure they don’t cry, and be happy.

Unfortunately, you cannot become a Yoshi. But as ThinkGeek notes in its product description, this is probably as close as you’re going to get. (In the description, “it’s like you’re turning yourself into a stuffed animal.”)

We will also note that this is the only robe in the entire collection that features a tail. It’s a small tail, granted, but it’s still a tail, and that’s cool.

For those who also like eating food, but maybe can’t do a good Yoshi noise, may we suggest venturing to the realm of Hyrule? Instead of dressing like Mario’s best buddy, you can play the actual hero … er, we mean Champion. We have to chide ThinkGeek a little for not making a reference to Link’s time in the Shrine of Resurrection, but to be fair, that’s a hard thing to make funny.

All the same, there’s something to be said for a simple set like this that makes the reference without asking you to wear a cumbersome belt, sword, or even the Sheikah Slate. Even though the shorts might look like boxer briefs, this sleep set is for everyone. Fashion and heroism have no gender.
