Does superheroes and comic books exist in the Harry Potter universe?
Harry Potter and his friends may be cut off from the world when they’re in Hogwarts but do they go to see movies or have superheroes to look up to?
We don’t know much about what the kids at Hogwarts like to do in the Harry Potter series but what if they got to read comics? We have to assume that the same things we love in our world exist in the wizarding world, right? So why wouldn’t Harry and his friends want to keep up with Captain America?
They went to school in the 90s so did they try and watch the Batman movies when they were released? It’s interesting to think about Harry and his friends dealing with pop culture while they are at school. We know that there is no Wi-Fi at Hogwarts but what about when they go home for the summer?
Do they not see trailers for movies and want to watch them or watch TV shows? There a re so many wonderful things that the kids at Hogwarts are missing and maybe they can sneak comic books into Hogwarts with them in their trunks! Since they can’t watch movies or television shows while they’re at school, it would be a nice thing for them to do to pass the time.
Do they exist though? We won’t know unless J.K Rowling says something but at least it would make sense since there isn’t much else they can do in the dorms when their homework is done and they’re relaxing.
