More about Dumbledore’s family to be explored at the start of Fantastic Beasts 3

Director David Yates and Producer David Heyman have revealed we will learn more about Dumbledore’s family at the start of Fantastic Beasts 3.

If you have seen Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, then no doubt you want to learn more. Especially about a certain wizard called Dumbledore. Keeping this post spoiler free, the ending to the latest installment of the Wizarding World franchise has made us want to know more about the past life of the future Headmaster of Hogwarts.

The good news is we will not be waiting long for details. Whether we will get any answers to the million questions we have or not is another matter. But details we will get.

Director David Yates and Producer David Heyman revealed this while chatting with Empire magazine. Where they discussed the reveal at the end of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald and explained that the beginning of Fantastic Beasts 3 will explore more details about Dumbledore and his family.

Neither Yates or Heyman went into the specifics about what would be revealed and how it would be revealed as they did not want to give away any major spoilers. They did say that a lot is on the way as they look into the intricacies of the family tree.

J.K. Rowling has only just finished the screenplay for Fantastic Beasts 3. Making the announcement via her official Twitter account. She dropped a major hint, all but giving confirmation really, that the story will continue into Brazil.

She also promised that answers will be given as well. A statement which backs up what both Yates and Heyman said about visiting the Dumbledore family tree at the very start of the next installment.
