Expect to see Rupert Grint back on your screens over the holidays

No doubt you will watch Harry Potter at some point over the holidays, but if you need a break from the Wizarding World, keep an eye out for Rupert Grint’s latest TV series.

The holidays are filled with good food, drink, fun, and Harry Potter. At some point, you will need to take a break from the Wizarding World, or you will binge watch it all in one go and will need something new to watch. If that is the case, Rupert Grint’s latest TV series is arriving at the perfect time for you.

Set to appear as Inspector Crome, a member of the police force who is a somewhat unusual police office, in The ABC Murders, a murder mystery series based on the novels written by Agatha Christie.

It was announced that Rupert Grint would appear in the series some time ago. The former Harry Potter actor is to star alongside John Malkovich, who will play Hercule Poirot. Grint will also appear opposite fellow Harry Potter star Shirley Henderson, who played Moaning Myrtle in the Wizarding World franchise, she will appear as Rose Marbury, who is the owner of the Marbury Boarding House.

The ABC Murders is set in the 1930s and follows the group of detectives attempting to track down a serial killer who leaves behind a single calling card, a copy of The ABC Railway Guide, at the scene of the crime.

The BBC has released a small teaser trailer showcasing the relationship between Rupert Grint and John Malkovich, as Inspector Crome and Hercule Poirot. You can see that for yourself just below.

Set to premiere on Boxing Day on the BBC. You can look forward to the following episodes aired on consecutive days after.
