Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery Christmas event is now available

Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery players can now deck the halls in a new Christmas event released by mobile game developers Jam City.
It’s Christmas time at Hogwarts and it is time for players of Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery to deck the halls. Developers Jam City has created a very special Christmas event for the mobile game and it is available right now.
Starting Dec. 6, the event will run until Dec. 12 where, at the end of the Christmas event, another event will begin. This will be carrying on right through until Christmas. So we have a lot on the way right now.

The best thing about the new event is there is no need to rush off and complete any tasks, save some energy, or be of a certain skill level. Heck, you could actually take part in the event and not even be a player of Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery.

The special Christmas event is voting for your favorite magical Christmas ornament to go on the tree in your Hogwarts House common room. Via social media, you cast your vote by leaving a comment saying which ornament out of the selection is your favorite.

At the end of voting. The tally will be counted and the ornament with the highest amount of votes will be placed upon your Hogwarts House Christmas tree.
When the newly decorated house tree is revealed on Dec. 13. A new side quest will become available featuring the Weasleys. This side quest will be a time-limited event and a video will also be released at the same time on social media.
The video will feature another Christmas surprise for fans. Instructions on how to make your very own handmade ornament at home to go on your Christmas tree.
