Avengers astrology: Which character best represents each sign?
Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 19) – Hawkeye/Clint Barton
Because Saturn reigns over Capricorns and compels them to be perpetually disciplined and also conditionally forgiving, MCU Clint Barton is a ringer for this earth sign.
We see the stereotypically strict Capricorn nature in Hawkeye from his tenacity in battle. According to Screen Rant, the character tallied approximately 21 kills in Avengers: Age of Ultron alone. Given his limited arrow supply, that’s an accomplishment, particularly when you’re trying to stop two genetically-altered and, at the time, vengeful humans along with a killer robot.
Obviously, every Avenger has a commendable work ethic. It’s nearly impossible to save the world without one. Clint doesn’t just share the positive attributes, he also hordes the negative Capricorn characteristics—namely their sometimes unrelenting grudges.
Capricorns aren’t inclined to distrust just anyone. However, if someone breaks a Capricorn’s trust in any way, it will take a long journey to earn it back. After Rhodey unintentionally becomes injured and breaks his spine during Captain America: Civil War, being the Capricorn he is, Clint blames Tony for Rhodey’s injury.
After Steve and Bucky escape the shenanigans at the airport, many of the remaining Avengers we detained and arrested. During his imprisonment, Clint makes a snide comment toward Tony, warning the others not to trust him, otherwise Tony might break their back. This is an obvious spiteful (and distasteful) comment, which shows the full spectrum of a single sign’s persona.
The resentful comment is obviously a dig at Tony, who likely already wrongfully blames himself for his best friend’s injury.
