Jason Isaacs would love to return to Harry Potter is possible

Maybe one day it will happen. Maybe one day Harry Potter will return. And if it does, Jason Isaacs would love to reprise his role as Lucius Malfoy.
Personally, it’s bound to happen one day. In some shape or form, Harry Potter will be back. I don’t believe it will be a reboot of the movie. I think it will be in some other form, like a TV series or something. And if it did. You can be certain that Jason Isaacs will be back playing Lucius Malfoy once more.
The actor, who portrayed the father of Draco Malfoy throughout the Harry Potter franchise. Has made it known that he would happily return if asked.

During the British Independent Film Awards that took place on Sunday, Dec. 2, he explained how enthusiastic he would be at the possibility. Describing how he would react if it happened:
"“If she (J.K.) phoned and the script arrived through the door it wouldn’t hit the ground before I left,”"
He openly admits that the possibility of Harry Potter ever returning is way outside of his control, and it will all come down to what J.K. Rowling decides. The author has made it publicly known that she would not bring back Harry Potter past the point of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child which is currently on Broadway. However, there is always plenty in between the last Harry Potter movie and Cursed Child so it’s entirely possible something could be created around that period of time.

However, with her involvement in the Fantastic Beasts franchise, it seems unlike that anything else Harry Potter related is going to be released anytime soon. So, unfortunately, I think Jason Isaacs is going to have to get comfortable, he has a long wait for his reprisal role.
Isaacs is not the only actor that would like to see Harry Potter return in some shape or form. Evanna Lynch recently announced that not only would she like to see a Harry Potter TV show, but she would like to be involved in some capacity in its production.
