Tom Hiddleston and Colin Firth should have been in Harry Potter movies
It is weird to think of the famous Harry Potter actors and not think about actors like Tom Hiddleston or Colin Firth. Put them in a Fantastic Beasts movie!
We all have our favorite British actors that we see from time and time and Tom Hiddleston and Colin Firth are definitely two of them. So it is surprising that neither of these actors have been a part of the Harry Potter series. Both prominent at the time of the series coming out as movies, you’d think they’d be first choice.
But here we are, well into the second Potter inspired series and still, no Hiddleston or Firth. So, can we ever expect to see these two legends take on magical beings? There hasn’t really been that big of a name in the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them series yet (Redmayne, Farrell, Law, and Depp being the exceptions) so there is still room to add a few more big names to the cast.
The Harry Potter franchise has always done a great job of mixing unknown with actors that we know and love from movies and so far, the Fantastic Beasts series has done a great job of including new faces to the series but we still have room for some tried and true favorites. Can we see Hiddleston or Firth in the series?
Who knows but it would be fun to finally see Colin Firth take on a role because that is one thing that just doesn’t make sense. Why wasn’t Colin Firth a professor or anything?
