Richard Gere is that actor that your mother was probably in love with growing up. Or if you’re a Pretty Woman fan, you probably still love him. Unfortunately for all of us, he’s now off the market. Richard married his Spanish love Alejandra Silva “weeks and weeks ago,” according to People.
Their relationship hasn’t really been in the news that much, just that they started dating in 2014 and have been together ever since. This marks the third marriage for Richard Gere, coming three years after his separation from his ex-wife Carey Lowell.
Alejandra Silva is onto her second marriage with Gere, following her separation from Govind Friedland after the birth of their son. Though we don’t know that much about Gere and Silva’s relationship, the two of them are seemingly very happy and in love with each other.
According to sources, they were married in a civil court in early April. The two recently celebrated over the Cinco de Mayo weekend with a wedding party that included Tibetan monks.
We’re happy that one of our favorite romantic leading men has found love once more. Hopefully, though he’ll go back and make a third movie with Julia Roberts. We’re suckers for nostalgia.
