Baby fever: Celebrities who had babies in 2018

Michelle Branch and Patrick Carney

It’s a boy from music sensation Michelle Branch and her fiancé Patrick Carney! Rhys James was born on August 28 to the singer and marks her second child. Rhys joins sister Owen, 12, that Branch had with her former husband, Teddy Landau.

Michelle wrote on her Instagram when Rhys was born “Patrick and I are over the moon in love with our son Rhys James Carney” and has since continued to post pictures of her new bundle. While Patrick and her are also planning a wedding, the two seem enamored with Rhys and Michelle continues to share her love for both Rhys and Owen on her page.

Prior to Rhys’ birth, Michelle posted a picture of her family (with her very pregnant belly and Owen in the pool behind her) and said that she hoped the “full moon does its magic” and, sure enough, Rhys was born on August 28.

Michelle seems exceptionally happy with Patrick, Owen, and Rhys and it is nice to see her embracing her life. She divorced from ex-husband Teddy Landau in 2015. If her Instagram is any indication though, she’s taking to her new life wonderfully!
