Baby fever: Celebrities who had babies in 2018

Mike and Iva Colter are going to have a lot on their hands with two baby girls! The Luke Cage star recently welcomed a second baby girl to the world. Naiella, his oldest daughter, already had him wrapped around her finger and now, with the new addition, Mike has his hands full!

While we are saddened to note that Luke Cage won’t be returning to Netflix for a third season, the news came the same week that Colter’s second daughter was born. So it was quite the week for Mike.

Born sometime around October 21, Mike and Iva welcomed another healthy baby girl, making that their second daughter for the 41 year-old star of The Defenders on Netflix. Now that Mike isn’t going to be playing Luke Cage in his standalone show anymore, that doesn’t mean he isn’t still portraying the hero of Harlem.

With The Defenders, Jessica Jones, and Daredevil all still up for more seasons, we may still see Mike Colter as part of our favorite heroes from New York City yet. Until then, he’ll be taking on the role of new father once again. Congratulations to both Mike and Iva on their new baby girl! We wish you all the happiness.
