These two ladies are hilarious in their own right, but when you bring them together, they’re unstoppable. We couldn’t possibly have one at our holiday dinner without the other, so why not double the laughs?

Fey and Poehler have been making us giggle for years. The comedians both got their big break on Saturday Night Live, coming into our homes every weekend to make us laugh and to make the world seem a little less scary. They went on to collaborate many more times over the years, in films like Mean Girls, Baby Mama, and Sisters, and also made their mark on TV yet again on their own NBC TV shows, Parks and Recreation (Poehler) and 30 Rock (Fey). Their brand of smart humor carved out a special place in our hearts, so could you imagine having them as your guests?

Fey and Poehler no doubt know how to party, we’ve seen Sisters. They may be moms now, but they definitely know how to let loose a little. Plus, once the drinks are flowing and the food is being devoured, they would probably get the whole group laughing hysterically in no time.

Even better than being funny, they’re also extremely smart girls. Literally — Amy Poehler founded an organization called Smart Girls that aims to help young women with the problems they face on a daily basis, but in a funny way. So not only will they have everyone blowing wine out of their nose, but they’ll also have some interesting topics to discuss that will surely delight everyone just as much.
