HOLLYWOOD, CA – MARCH 04: Chelsea PERETTI (L) Jordan Peele attend the 90th Annual Academy Awards at Hollywood

Chelsea Peretti

Cool, cool, cool, cool! She may be leaving Brookyln Nine-Nine during the next season, but that doesn’t mean she won’t always be Gina Linetti in our hearts.

It probably sounds like we think every actor really is their character in real life, like Mindy Kaling and Awkwafina, but Peretti does have some striking similarities to Gina. They’re both badass and hilarious, but Gina seems just a little more intense, in a chaotic good kind of way. Whether she’s like her character or not, Peretti would be more than welcome at any holiday event.

It’s unavoidable at this point, in case you haven’t noticed a pattern: Chelsea is also very political on her Twitter. The US is currently in a pretty difficult political climate, so it’s not surprising that your holiday parties might descend into a heated discussion about Trump, immigration, gun control, or one of the many other important talking points as of late. Don’t try to avoid it, embrace it. Debate is the spice of life, as long as everyone you keep near and dear is respectful and informed. Things might get messy if you have alcohol flowing, but surely Peretti will find a way to keep it funny before things get too intense!

Things could only get better if Peretti brought along any of her Brookyln Nine-Nine castmates. Andy Samberg, Terry Crews, Stephanie Beatriz and the rest of the amazing stars of the show would make for one memorable dinner, that’s for sure. You wouldn’t even have a chance to eat between laughs!
