Nora Lum, who we all know and love as Awkwafina, would be the life of any party she’s at, so if you can get her at your holiday dinner, you’re set. No need to worry about entertaining your guests, she’ll probably do it for you. She might get a little crass, though, so hopefully your parents aren’t attending your holiday shindig.

Awkwafina has had probably the best year of her career after starring in this smash hit romcom Crazy Rich Asians. She played Rachel’s old college friend, Pek Lin, who lives in Singapore and guides Rachel through the crazy lives of the crazy rich Asians. She proved to be a perfect choice for the role, and provided a good chunk of the laughs. More than anything, she made us all want to be best friends with her. Hello, she lets Rachel borrow beautiful gowns, gives her a makeover, drives her around in her amazing car and helps her make friends in the crazy world of the Young family.

She may play the hilarious sidekick on the big screen, but she’s also pretty damn funny in real life, too. She hosted Saturday Night Live this season — the first Asian woman in 18 years to do so — and killed it. If things slow down at your holiday fiesta, maybe she could perform one of her songs for you guys. Didn’t you know? Awkwafina got her start as a rapper, and her song “My Vag” is a track about, well, you can figure it out. It might not be dinner-appropriate, but do you think Awkwafina cares?
