Mindy Kaling

Mindy Kaling is like everyone’s best friend. She’s the girl next door who you want to eat cookie dough and watch romcoms with. Mindy really seems like the character she played on The Mindy Project, so let us live in our fantasy world for just a second where Kaling is our bestie and she’s at our holiday dinner.

If Kaling is anything like Mindy Lahiri, then we already know she loves Christmas and she would definitely show up in a fabulous outfit, something bright and sparkly, with a great dessert in hand. She might be a mom now, but that wouldn’t stop her from having a good time. Put on some Beyoncé or Spice Girls and the entire room will be her stage, so back off and let her do her thing!

Not only is Kaling relatable AF, but she’s also one funny lady. Mindy has five Emmy nominations for her work as a writer on The Office and two best-selling books, Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? and Why Not Me?. She knows a thing or two about comedy, but she’s not the type to brag. She’s just hilarious, plain and simple.

Imagine having her and Amy Poehler and Tina Fey at your dinner? You might pee yourself, so be prepared. By the end of the night, your face and abs will be sore from laughing so hard, but maybe you’ll burn off all that turkey and pecan pie! Think of it as your post-feast cardio, then you can skip the gym — not that anyone really gets around to going to the gym during the holidays.
