Nick Fury: Brownies

We don’t know a lot about Nick Fury. He’s one of those guys who shows up when we need him and that’s all we really get. Sure, we learn things about him little by little, and maybe we’ll know even more after Captain Marvel. But right now, that’s all we get out of him.

With all that mystery surrounding him, why does it feel like he’d be a secret baker? We know that Fury is an enigma, and sometimes he surprises everyone, even the Avengers. So if he was suddenly the kind of man who would stay up late in the kitchen baking treats for himself, we’d believe it.

When everyone was discussing what to bring, no one ever thought Fury would bring anything. He listens, realizes no one is bringing anything chocolate, and decides to make brownies for the team.

Nick may like baking, but it doesn’t mean he’s a pastry chef. But still, they’re brownies. And the Avengers are so shocked that Nick made anything at all that everyone tries a bite by the end of the night. Most just nod and say they’re great, but Thor ends up being exceptionally blunt and tells him that they’re a little dry.
