Thanksgiving is almost here and what better way to enjoy the holiday than with Harry Potter. Is there a Harry Potter marathon this Thanksgiving 2018?
With the rights to Harry Potter changing hands this year. There is a concern amongst some Potterheads that the annual tradition of the Thanksgiving weekend Harry Potter marathon will not be going ahead. Which is a fair question. So let’s get that answered. Is there a Harry Potter marathon this Thanksgiving 2018?
In short, yes and no. There will be a Harry Potter marathon this Thanksgiving 2018. Sort off. This is what SYFY has got planned for Potterheads this year.

Seven of the eight Harry Potter movies will air on Thanksgiving. What happened to the eighth? Well, that movie is airing the night before because Harry Potter is so awesome that you can’t watch them all in one day. Not without a decent nights sleep or appropriate sleep.
