Original six Avengers actors honor Stan Lee with loving magazine ad
The original six Avengers actors took out an ad honoring Stan Lee, and we think it’s super touching and lovely.
Since Stan Lee passed away a few days ago, the tributes for the Marvel legend have been endless. Fans and celebrities alike have shared how much Stan Lee meant to them as well as inspired them. These tributes have been touching and beautiful, and it’s comforting to see that even though Stan Lee isn’t here anymore, his legacy will live in.
Each of the original six Avengers actors have already made their own personal tributes to Lee on social media since he passed away, but they have now come together to honor him with a full-page ad in a magazine.
The ad was taken out for the November 14 issue of The Hollywood Reporter by Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, and Jeremy Renner.
The ad features a tribute message to Lee, in front of the Avengers logo.
Their tribute reads:
"We acknowledge his creative contribution, the thousands of men and women it has long employed, the millions that will continue to be entertained, and above all, his inimitable wit, grace, and humility.Stan, we love you, we will miss you, and we’re grateful to represent a small part of your amazing legacy."
The November 14 issue of the magazine also features five other full-page tributes to the iconic comic creator. One ad was taken out by Disney and Marvel and features a hand-drawn piece of art of Stan Lee. The other tributes include a tribute photo that was included by 20th Century Fox as well as tributes from DC Comics and Sony Pictures.
It is heartwarming to know that the original six Avengers actors took the time to honor Stan Lee in this way. While it’s distressing that Stan Lee is no longer with us, the stories he helped to create and shape will continue on. We also wish his family and friends comfort during this time.
