Should we ever remake the Harry Potter movies?
There has always been the thought of remaking the Harry Potter movies. With everything going on in the entertainment world, maybe we should.
Obviously, the Harry Potter movies aren’t perfect but it was before we would really do something like Game of Thrones is doing. We wouldn’t have a show that followed a book throughout the entire season back when Harry Potter came out and now, looking back at those movies, maybe that is something that we need to do.
It isn’t that the Potter movies are bad, if anything, they’re great. But there is a lot of information that is left out of the movies because they just didn’t have the time. Winky didn’t get her time to shine, Peeves wasn’t featured, and Hermione and her S.P.E.W lives solely in the books. So if we got to see them on television, then maybe we could have a bit more of the books into the series.
Maybe we just want to go back to the Potter series that started it all. Sure, Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them was a great start to a new era for Potter fans but there is nothing that can touch that joy we felt reading the books for the first time and seeing the movies. Remaking them, maybe years later, or even bringing Harry Potter and the Cursed Child to screen seems so wonderful.
It’s only been seven years since Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 came out but we miss this series with all our hearts.
