Fantastic Beasts is almost here and what can we expect from the movie?

While we don’t know too much about Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, we know enough to try and figure out what the movie is going to hold for us.

What exactly do we know about Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald? Well, we know that it features a young Dumbledore, Hogwarts, and Newt Scamander having to face Grindelwald again with possibly Albus on his side.

All that being said, that’s just very surface information. We’ve been given snippets in the trailers and, apart from the Nagini drop, we haven’t really learned too much that we didn’t know directly after the release of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

So can we expect the war to begin in this movie? Probably, with a five picture deal, we’re going to see a bit into the rise of Lord Voldemort (or at least that’s the hope). Four more movies of Newt trying to stop Grindelwald? Sure, you could make it work but also it’d be more beneficial if they used these additional movies to expand upon areas of the series that we love.

Personally, it’d be great, for me, if they managed to get the movies to the Marauders era so we can get a glimpse of a young Sirius Black, James Potter, Remus Lupin, and even a young Severus Snape. We’ll have to see what Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald has for us and where the series is going to go afterwards.

Especially with Nagini. That’s one storyline we have to figure out where they going with it.
