5 things we want from season 2 of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is the latest binge-worthy series on Netflix, and now that we are through season 1, there are things we still want to see from season 2.

The first season of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina was the kind of series we could fall into (which we did). But it also left us wanting more.

Not only do we have some questions we want answered, especially after everything we saw in the season finale, but there are some things we truly want to see as well.

Salem speaking

Hands down we want to see Sabrina’s familiar, Salem, speaking. And it isn’t out of the realm of possibility based on the comics themselves, and the show’s creator. In an interview with IndieWire, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa teased that there is still a chance Salem could speak in the future. And since he has a speaking role in the comics, we really want to see this happen. Plus, we know that before he transformed into the cat, the familiar spoke to Sabrina, so why not have our favorite cat speak so the rest of us can hear him too.

More Ambrose (and his love life)

We were big fans of Ambrose in season 1 and we want to see more of him in season 2. We loved the fact that Chilling Adventures of Sabrina gave us at least one pansexual character in Ambrose, and we want to see this explored further. But in general we are really just looking to see Ambrose happy, and doing things he would otherwise be denied due to his house arrest. Here is a character we just think need a bit more story line.

While we understand why Harvey and Sabrina parted ways at the end of season 1, that doesn’t mean we want it to be a long-term separation. Sure, she has Nick as another suitor, but we are team Harvey. He was a devoted boyfriend who lost his brother (in part because of Sabrina) and was also lied to by his girlfriend. Our hope is that somehow these two are able to find their way back together, even after everything that has happened.

How Zelda handles the baby she lied about

In season 2, we need to see what happens with Zelda and the Blackwood baby girl. After she lied to Father Blackwood about the fate of his infant daughter, we want to see how she handles the situation. What exactly is Zelda going to do now? This is something we can’t wait to see being dealt with in the next season. We doubt she is going to be able to get away with this for long, but we definitely want to know what she was thinking.

More Riverdale Easter eggs

Okay this might just be us, but we want to see more of the Riverdale Easter eggs that popped up in season 1. We know that Greendale and Riverdale are neighboring towns, and we even saw a familiar face pop up as a pizza boy in the series. So of course we want to see more connections between these two towns and their people. This is especially true if we could potentially get a crossover at some point (we don’t know how that would work, but we bet it would be interesting).

There were a lot of must see moments throughout the first season of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. And with so many interesting characters and story lines to continue learning about, we think there are plenty of opportunities in season 2. For now though, these are the top five things we want to see in the second season of the series.
