Does this Thor: The Dark World dialogue reveal answer to this Avengers 4 question?
More connections by fans point to the Quantum Realm playing an important role in Avengers 4. Could this dialogue in Thor: The Dark World hold an answer?
Today, we’ve got some more Avengers 4 theories for you. And, don’t you worry, we will be keeping them coming all the way down the line until the movie is released. And, then after that, we’re sure we’ll bring you even more theories that people come up with after watching Avengers 4, so the fun will never end.
According to this theory, posted on Reddit, a fan thinks that a conversation that happened in Thor: The Dark World could hold the key to answering a big question people have about Avengers 4. While this movie definitely isn’t known for being the best of the MCU, it could have an important clue in it, and it did set up important information about Thor and Loki in the MCU.
In the 2013 movie directed by Alan Taylor, there is a conversation where Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) is being examined by a doctor on Asgard named Eir. Eir talks about a quantum field generator. During this conversation, Eir notes that the device is a “Soul Forge.” This leads to Foster asking, “Does a Soul Forge transfer molecular energy from one place to another?”
If the Soul Stone and the Soul Forge are similar, maybe this means that Thanos’ snap transferred the souls to another place. Maybe another place where molecules are important… A place like the Quantum Realm.
As CBR mentions, the Soul Forge from this film has already drawn the speculation of fans since it glows orange in a way that is reminiscent of the Soul Stone. We have also seen this same kind of light surrounding Ant-Man when he was stuck in the Quantum Realm while the Thanos snap happened. This orange glow connection between these three things might point to the Quantum Realm being key to returning the souls of those snapped out of existence. This is something many are already speculating on, and it seems likely that Ant-Man and the Quantum Realm will be an important part of Avengers 4 and saving those who died because of the snap.
People involved in the films, such as Michael Douglas who played Hank Pym in Ant-Man and the Wasp, have noted that the Quantum Realm is important. But, how it is important and how it impacts the plot of Avengers 4 remains to be seen.
Since Ant-Man is still trapped in the Quantum Realm, this could give him the chance to learn more about it and possibly interact or figure out that the souls of the snapped people reside there. Along with the help of Tony Stark, Bruce Banner, and Shuri, maybe there is a chance that most of these heroes will be saved.
For now, all we have are theories and hints. It’s always fun to see these little moments and connections that fans figure out. Maybe an Avengers 4 trailer, which is supposed to be released before the end of the year, will give us a few more hints about what is happening with this movie.
