Spend your Halloween revisiting the Harry Potter series!
It is filled with witches, wizards, magical beasts and everything in between so why not spend Halloween watching the Harry Potter series again?
Sure, you can watch the Harry Potter series during pretty much any holiday but Halloween seems fitting for it. So much happened on Halloween for Harry and it continues to be a series about witches, wizards, magical beasts, goblins, ghosts, and magic feasts. So why not stay inside on this chilling October evening and rewatch the series?
A lot of fans of the series don’t like going outside on nights like tonight. And that’s fine! So why not pop in your DVDs and watch as Harry’s future begins on Halloween night in 1981? James and Lily Potter sacrificed themselves on this night for their son and it means that we got to watch as he eventually took down the man who murdered his parents.
That being said, there are other moments when the series embraces Halloween as well. Hogwarts is shown to love the holiday, even if bad things happen there frequently, and, when you think about it, it makes sense that the wizarding world would embrace Halloween because the Dark Lord was “defeated” by Harry on that night.
All that being said, it makes it easy to find something to do. Sure, you can watch Hocus Pocus or Halloweentown, but the Harry Potter series is right there and willing. We can watch the series, cry about our favorites, and remember that Harry is so strong and has struggled throughout his life.
Remember James and Lily Potter and get ready to start watching all eight movies in one sitting! It’ll be worth it.
