New rumor says Katherine Langford could play an Avenger’s daughter in Avengers 4

A rumor about Katherine Langford’s role in Avengers 4 hints that she could be playing the daughter of one of the most important characters in the MCU.

We have to have something to keep our minds busy while we wait for literally anything official from Marvel about the movie, after all. They really have been holding out on us and dragging things out as long as possible, but all we can do is wait.

Fans of the MCU who spend time on Twitter are probably already aware that Katherine Langford, star of Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why, has been reportedly cast in Avengers 4. This, of course, has lead to a lot of internet memes and humorous commentary.

While it’s always fun to joke around, and MCU fans are great at making memes, there is also speculation about which character she is going to play. Some of the most popular theories so far have been that she will play Kate Bishop, a character in the comics who takes on the mantle of Hawkeye, or Cassie Lang, Ant-Man’s daughter.

According to MCU Cosmic, a website run by Jeremy Conrad who is known for posting Marvel rumors, Langford will be playing a character who isn’t in the comics. Now, keep in mind that this is very much a rumor. Even in the post on the site, there are disclaimers about it being still in the rumor category.

But, according to MCU Cosmic, Langford will be playing a child of one of the original Avengers. While many people have also speculated that Langrod will play a child of Clint Barton, this rumor says that she will likely be the daughter of Tony and Pepper.

This might not be too far-fetched of a theory since the MCU hinted that Tony Stark wanted to have a child in Avengers: Infinity War. If she’s playing their daughter, it means that Avengers 4 would feature some sort of time jump into the future in one way or another, either in reality or because of an Infinity Stone.

We will just have to wait until next year to know for sure. But, one thing we do know is that the rumored list of actors joining this movie just keeps getting longer. How many people are going to be in this movie? And who isn’t starring in this movie at this point?
