Will Isaac and Hector reunite?

Isaac and Hector were interesting additions to the season 2 list of characters, as humans who took little to no issue with ridding the world of humans. We say little to no issue because Hector was the softer of the two, who hoped that Dracula would let humans remain on Earth as livestock for vampires. Isaac, however, had no qualms with the eradication of his species, having said that he hopes to make purity from human corruption. And to Isaac, pretty much all humans are corrupt.

Initially, these two seemed somewhat close, being the only two humans in Dracula’s army and given the honorable task of leading the next attack against humans at the start of the season. However, as season 2 progressed, Isaac and Hector’s goals became clearly different. Isaac’s loyalty to Dracula is unwavering; Hector is swayed by Camilla to betray the vampire lord.

At the end of the season, Hector’s betrayal results in being captured by Camilla, while Isaac roams free. We last see him threatened by a band of rogues, who he swiftly kills and then reanimates back to life as undead soldiers. Isaac, it seems, is ready to continue the fight on Wallachia and beyond.

If these two reunite, it could prove deadly. Isaac was completely loyal to Dracula, and if he learns of not only his death but how Hector played a small part of it by attacking the castle, he’ll want revenge. Isaac, however, may fall prey to Camilla’s convincing ways. We can assume he still wants all humans to die. Camilla can offer that fate if he joins her and makes more of the undead to serve her.
