Castlevania: 5 lingering questions we have for season 3

Will Trevor and Sypha stick together (and get together)?
Throughout much of season 2, Trevor and Sypha’s relationship was hinted at as being more than just friends. While there are no outright claims of romantic love, you could see the fondness between the two growing episode by episode. From teasing and taunting, to Sypha’s concern for Trevor’s sadness, it’s hard not to see these two developing some sort of relationship in season 3.
Following the battle between Alucard and his father Dracula, which results in the vampire lord’s death, Trevor offers the Belmont estate to Alucard — so he may use the library’s wealth of knowledge as well as Dracula’s own extensive records to discover new ways of peace between vampires and humans. Trevor and Sypha then set off into the sunset, quite literally. Sypha could have chosen to return to the life of a Speaker, serving as an oral archivist, or she could join Trevor for further adventures.
In season 3, we hope to see these two on those adventures, which could very well include fighting Camilla’s new army of the undead. Their bond could continue to grow, and we may finally see some solid romantic development between the two. The only wrench that could be thrown in here? If Alucard reappears.
Sypha seemed to care for the dhampir as well in season 2, but noted how he often feels like the cold spot in the room. If he returns to help fight against vampires and the undead with Sypha and Trevor, could he also create some kind of love triangle — with Trevor and Alucard each vying for Sypha’s affection?
