There is another story of Harry’s that has to be told on the big screen so would Daniel Radcliffe be interested in coming back to the Harry Potter series?
Look, Daniel Radcliffe is busy have a great career on Broadway and doing whatever his heart desires. But what if he came back to the Harry Potter series for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child? As of right now, there aren’t any plans to bring the stage play to life on the silver screen but nothing is stopping J.K Rowling and company from doing so after they finish with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
In Cursed Child, Harry is well into his 30s so to have Daniel Radcliffe play him when he’s a little bit older would be a fitting casting for all Potter fans. We grew up with Daniel, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint. They were our Harry, Ron, and Hermione, and to see them back in action as Albus and Scorpius go back in time? It’d be a great return to the series we know and love.
It seems like many fans have the same idea. We still have some time before Daniel is the right age. The beginning of the play starts 19 years after the Battle of Hogwarts, meaning that Harry is 37 years old. With Daniel currently only being 29, there are 8 years left before he’s the right age. Just saying, it’d be a great way to honor the series again with the Harry Potter who started it all.
What do you think? Would Daniel Radcliffe ever go back to playing Harry Potter? Or is he done with the series that introduced us all to him? Sound off in the comments below and let us know if you think Daniel Radcliffe would wear the lightning bolt scar once more.
