Tom Holland surprisingly gives away no spoilers on Jimmy Kimmel Live

Tom Holland made a surprise appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and while pressed to give away some spoilers, Holland kept things cool.
Making a trip from his home borough of Queens to Brooklyn, Peter Parker swung onto the stage of Jimmy Kimmel Live Thursday night. Sure, you can say it was Tom Holland up on the stage, but judging by the act and that Brooklyn accent, it was 100 percent Peter Parker.
And given that it was 100 percent Peter Peter, that meant there was no Tom Holland to get in the way of telling spoilers. Kimmel had to ask Spidey the big fourth-wall-breaking elephant in the room about Spider-Man: Far From Home.
“Is this movie a prequel?” Kimmel asked. “Because at the end of Infinity War, you turned into, like, black confetti.”
To that, Holland (or Parker, rather) excused himself by jokingly saying that Thanos was robbing a bank, and he ought to go stop him.
As the rumors go, Far From Home will take place right after Infinity War. So this movie will just be good news to any Spider-Man fan who was crushed by Peter’s sad send-off at the end of the movie.
And for such quick appearance on the show, fans actually got to see a treat new to Spider: Man Far From Home. It wasn’t a clip from the movie, but it was Parker’s newest suit out and in action. It’s a suit we’ve seen around the internet already. First, it came from the many set videos that showed Spidey rescuing MJ in New York. Then, Holland shared a photo of himself in the suit from that same scene to signal filming was finally done for the movie.
This suit is quite similar to the one in Homecoming, except the blue is now replaced with black. This is just one of the two newer suits we’ve seen Peter wear on set. The other one we’ve seen is an all-black Spider-Man Noir-looking suit. And with all these dark suits, we’re hoping Peter isn’t going through his angsty teen phase. Perhaps all the traveling he’ll be doing in the movie will help cheer him up.

Now that Spider-Man: Far From Home has wrapped filming, you can catch the movie in theaters July 5, 2019.
