Karen Gillan gives us a peek at what could be Nebula’s Avengers 4 look

Guardians of the Galaxy and Infinity War star Karen Gillan shared a never-before-seen picture of Nebula. Could this be for Avengers 4?

Marvel characters are getting away a little too easy about giving hints about what’s to come for their movies. Just yesterday, Tom Holland shared a photo from the Spider-Man: Far From Home set that shows him in a brand new suit. And now, it looks like Karen Gillan is totally off the hook, too, for showing off a new look at Nebula we’ve never seen before.

Gillan shared the photo of Nebula to Instagram on Wednesday with nothing but an alien and robot emoji as the caption. It’s a good description of Nebula, but doesn’t give away much about why she posted the photo or what it’s all about.

And since it’s a picture we haven’t seen before, it has some thinking it could actually be for Avengers 4. Take a look for yourself below.

It’s hard to tell which movie the photo is exactly for. The outfit pretty much looks exactly the same as what she wore in Infinity War (as you can see in her character poster here.) And we can’t be certain if Nebula will have the same outfit in Avengers 4.

If Avengers 4 picks up directly after Infinity War, then it might be pretty likely that we’ll see her look all the same as when she and Tony were left on the planet Titan. But if the rumored timed jump occurs (where the movie takes place up to five years after Infinity War), we might not see Nebula with the same look that she has in Infinity War.

One thing that could be very likely come Avengers 4 is that Nebula plays a much larger role in defeating Thanos once and for all. As his daughter, and with Gamora out of the picture, she’s the only one who knows him best and how he could be stopped. While the rest of the Avengers will probably work on figuring out how to get their friends back, Nebula will be their best bet for tracking down Thanos and making sure he pays for what he’s done. It might even be Nebula who actually kills Thanos, but we’re sure she’ll have to get in line with all the other Avengers who have a score to settle with him.
