Tom Holland and Zendaya look like they’ve just saved the world in final set pics from Spider Man: Far From Home

It’s official! Tom Holland confirms with new (and final) set pics that Spider-Man: Far From Home has finished filming.

Fans of Spider-Man and the MCU have been getting a lot of great leaks and set pictures from the filming of Spider-Man: Far From Home. From grainy images of Jake Gyllenhaal as Mysterio to videos of Tom Holland and Zendaya using cables to jump high into the air around Penn Station, it’s been fun to get little glimpses into this film.

The MCU is known for keeping their films under wraps, especially these days. Not a lot is officially known about the Spider-Man sequel, likely because there could be spoilers related to what happens at the end of Avengers 4. But, since the movie has been filming in so many crowded locations, some leaks have been unavoidable. The sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming will likely play a big role in the next phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Tom Holland shared the wrap news on Instagram, confirming that principal filming was done. In the photo, he and co-star Zendaya, who plays brainiac Michelle in the film, are shown on set looking serious with their arms folded. The picture also features Spidey’s new black and red suit.

Earlier in the day, Holland also posted a picture of himself in the Spider-Man suit doing some sort of stunt. He laments that they are half-way through their last day of shooting, clearly feeling a little bummed out by this.

While lots of bits and pieces from filming have surfaced on the internet, not much is known about the plot. There are a lot of rumors, including that Spider-Man will face multiple enemies in the film such as Mysterio and Chameleon. Peter Parker and his friends end up in Europe for at least part of the film, but we have also seen that some of the story will take place in NYC. Other MCU characters like Nick Fury, Maria Hill, and Happy Hogan will also make an appearance if set photos are to be believed.

Far From Home finished filming just a few days after reshoots for Avengers 4 finished up. We don’t know what exactly will happen in either of these films, but we can’t wait to find out.
