Let the Harry Potter Halloween costume season begin!

Every Halloween, we pull out our best work and create the Harry Potter costume of our dreams! Or…we’re all nerds and can easily be Harry.

Harry Potter is an easy costume to do for Halloween. Most of us are nerds who have scarves, ties, and whatever else from our favorite houses and most of us have our very own wands. So every Halloween, you can find quite a bit of Potter fans out and showing their pride.

There isn’t anything wrong with that, it’s just funny because we end up always having at least one Harry Potter at a party. Maybe it is because we get lazy and that is the easy costume for most of us fans. To be honest, it took me years to be Harry for Halloween because I wanted to do him justice. Then I ended up wearing a leather skirt and walking around with my tie and wand.

With all the new influx of Harry Potter merchandise out there, it is easy for us to come up with original costumes from the series! We can be the older versions of Harry, Ron, and Hermione. Maybe Fantastic Beasts is more your speed and you want to dress up like Newt Scamander and one of his friends.

That’s perfectly okay! Just embody the series in whatever way you want this Halloween and remember that Halloween at Hogwarts is often a very dangerous time. You don’t want to be trick or treating and find a troll in the dungeon.
