Eddie Redmayne explains that the ending to Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald left him, and others, with their jaws, dropped.

If you were already excited about Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald then I apologize now. Because this will not help you in anway.

We already know a lot about the sequel to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Jacob, somehow, gets his memory back, Grindelwald escapes, Nicholas Flamel shows up, Tina and Newt reunite, Young Albus Dumbledore will feature, etc etc.

More from Harry Potter

We know a heck of a lot. Yet, despite everything that we know, the ending of the movie is going to leave us with our jaws on the floor.

And that is not me saying that by the way. This comes from Eddie Redmayne himself. Someone who most likely knows more than anybody about the upcoming movie was left in shock and awe when he learned the ending.

Redmayne stated such when being interviewed by Entertainment Weekly.

"“The script is labyrinthian,”“Along the way these connections to Harry Potter and secrets are falling at your feet.”“I got to the end and my jaw dropped,”“There was one thing I didn’t see coming.”"

This statement just opens up a world of possibilities. What on earth happens at the end of this movie that made Eddie Redmayne so surprised?

My head is whirring around with so many possibilities that I can’t get things in order.

It wasn’t just Eddie Redmayne who complimented the script. Dan Fogler compared the installment to the fifth episode of Star Wars. Now that might not mean much to some, I get that, not everybody is a Star Wars fan, but to say a movie is just as good as Empire Strikes Back, to me, is the highest honor a movie can give.

You are pretty much saying it is going to be a world-renowned, lifelong, memorable movie.

I can’t wait to see what they have in store for us.

Next. Why can’t Dumbledore move against Grindelwald? Is it the Unbreakable Vow?. dark
