With the cast of Spider-Man: Far From Home filming in Venice, there was ample opportunity to spot the cast filming a few scenes. This time, J.B. Smoove joined the cast.

For one little Spider-Man movie, it feels like Spider-Man: Far From Home is going to be just as star-studded as Infinity War. Already, we’ve got Tom Holland, Zendaya, Samuel L. Jackson, and maybe (just maybe) Jake Gyllenhaal. But the new names seem to be added by the day.

During filming in Venice this week, it looks like J.B. Smoove and Remy Hii joined in on the action. In a photo shared on Reddit (originally from TomHolland.com.br), the post shows Smoove and Hii on a gondola ride with the rest of the students from Midtown High School.

As of now, it’s unclear what Smoove and Hii’s roles are in this movie. Some think  Smoove could be a parent-chaperone on the Euro trip. It’s only fair, seeing as these high schoolers really shouldn’t be out on an international trip by themselves. Another person on Reddit recalled an Audi commercial where Smoove played Peter Parker’s driving instructor. He could play this character once again, but most people agreed that the commercial wasn’t necessarily canon.

Hii’s character, on the other hand, is quite mysterious. Some speculated that the Crazy Rich Asians actor could play MJ’s love interest. Except, that would be pretty strange, considering that Hii is in his thirties in real life. Others thought Hii could be playing Amadeus Cho, who’s a bit of a rival to Peter Parker.

Elsewhere, Tom Holland’s been spotted out and about in Venice — with fans, going through canals, and pretty much in every crack and crevice of the town. In fact, Holland seems to have gotten so much attention that fans flocked to his Venice hotel. But Holland had to lay out on his Instagram story today that security wouldn’t let him out to see fans because of how hectic it was. It seems like everyone’s got Tom Holland fever, and they’re anxious to get a glimpse of him and everyone on set while they’re there.

Rumors have it that the cast and crew might make one more European stop — Berlin — before they wrap up filming by heading back to the United States. We’ll just have to wait and see where this Spidey adventure takes us next.
