A werewolf has appeared in the newly released cover art of Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery but who is it?
You might have noticed, or not depending on the last time you played the game, that the cover art has changed for Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery. No longer the pre-release art for the mobile app game, it features a number of Hogwarts Professors, students, and more importantly, a werewolf?
Who is the werewolf is the question now being asked amongst players and why have they been so prominently placed in the image?

It’s safe to say that Dumbledore, Snape, Madam Rakepick, Barnaby Lee, Penny Haywood, and Charlie Weasley are not the werewolf, considering that they are in the same image. Unless Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is pulling off a mind-bending twist or something.

There is also the fact that we know these characters are not werewolves thanks to the Harry Potter novels; unless J.K. Rowling has been hiding that particular secret for 20 years as she has done with Nagini, Voldemort’s snake.

Theories currently circulating amongst players are, the werewolf is Ben Cooper. Because Ben just gets labeled with everything these days. Rowan Khanna is another suggestion as well, however, the most popular theory is that it is the player’s character itself that is the werewolf.
This would explain why the werewolf has been so prominently placed. The player’s character has always stood in the center of the logo, so if the player’s character turns out to be the werewolf, having the werewolf situated where the player’s character normally was makes a ton of sense.
There is always the chance it is Jacob as well, the missing player’s characters brother. It could equally also be someone who we have yet to come across.
Basically, as things are right now, there is just too little information avaible to narrow down who it could be. Hopefully, we will learn soon, that way we can get a definitively answer to the question. Who is the werewolf in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery?
