Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively are fans of the Harry Potter series!

As if we needed another reason to love Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively, the two are huge Harry Potter nerds and talked to Josh Horowitz about the series!

Who knew that Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick were among us Harry Potter nerds? While doing press for their film, A Simple Favor, the two actresses were talking about the series with Josh  Horowitz and what houses they would be in.

While this isn’t a weird question for celebrities, it is rare that two very popular actresses are actually this big of nerds for Rowling’s work. Blake said maybe one of the best quotes ever by pointing out that if you haven’t read the books, are you really a fan of Harry Potter?

The two went on to talk about Pottermore, their houses, and how Josh has one step up on them because he’s seen Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and neither of them had.

Honestly, it is just so delightful seeing these two women talk about their shared love of Harry Potter without it being a contest. So often, our nerdy tendencies are forced into battles of who knows more and these two just embraced the chance to talk about the series and how they got into reading the books.

So maybe we’ll have to all have a sit down chat with Anna and Blake about their favorite characters and books but we’re just excited that Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick are just as big of Harry Potter fans as we are! That’s the kind of company we like to keep, even if Blake still has to take her Pottermore quiz!
