Theater and Harry Potter: Daniel Radcliffe and his love of the Broadway stage

While Hogwarts will always be his home, Daniel Radcliffe has continually gone back to Broadway. And he’s returning this season in another show!

Daniel Radcliffe sure does love coming to Broadway. If it isn’t in a musical, then he is constantly tackling new plays that change how we see him. Maybe it is because he’s had to fight against the idea of being Harry Potter for his entire career but to see him thrive on stage is incredible.

The most challenging had to have been when he starred in How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying as J. Pierrepont Finch. He was singing, dancing, and it was the first time that we, as fans, could see him in a way that was almost accessible.

For so many, we’ve only had the option to see Daniel as Harry. So his continual leap into theater brings him to life in a new way time and time again. Whether it is singing and dancing or even playing around naked with a horse in Equus, he always brings unique experiences for us.

What does this new play hold for us? We’ll have to wait and see but if it is anything like his previous stints on Broadway, we’re going to be in for a treat. Maybe this time, he’ll get nominated and maybe even win a Tony Award. He’s proven time and time again how amazing he is on stage and we’d love to see him get recognition for his work!

The Lifespan of a Fact is coming to Broadway this season and it is going to be nice to have Daniel back on the Great White Way again.
