Harry Potter and How To Get Away With Murder actor Alfred Enoch is coming into the BCC thriller Trust Me following the departure of Jodie Whittaker.

Alfred Enoch has come a long way since appearing as Dean Thomas in the Harry Potter franchise. Starring in the ABC series How To Get Away With Murder for over 50 episodes as Wes Gibbins, Enoch is no stranger to TV series roles. His latest being the BBC Trust Me series following the departure of Jodie Whittaker.

Whittaker’s departure from Trust Me is not in anyway a secret. Her new role as the 13th Doctor in the Doctor Who series has been widely published. Whittaker played the role of a fake doctor in Trust Me but her commitment to Doctor Who has obviously led her to not return for a second season.

Enoch is to play the role of Corporal Jamie McCain, a paralysed soldier who tries to find out the truth behind his fellow patients’ mysterious deaths on the ward, according to the BBC.

You shouldn’t expect Trust Me to be airing anytime soon however. The first series only premiered back in August 2017 and it is not expected to air it’s second season until next year on BBC One. Hopefully, at that point, we will then learn if it is to make its way overseas.
