Cast and crew photo raises speculation about Avengers 4

Cast members from Avengers 4 got together to celebrate Joe Russo’s new restaurant, and fans are speculating about the appearances.

While reshoots for Avengers 4 are still going on, some of the cast took time out of the reshoots to attend the opening of director Joe Russo’s restaurant. The restaurant, located in downtown Los Angeles, is called Simone, and many of the Avengers cast showed up celebrate with him.

Among the celebs at the event were Chris Evans, Don Cheadle, Karen Gillan, Marisa Tomei, and Pom Klementieff. Kevin Feige also made an appearance at the restaurant’s opening.

As unsuspicious as it might sound, one photo from the opening made its round on the internet without context. And that sent the internet into a frenzy, wondering if it was a cast photo for Avengers 4 reshoots.

Another Marvel director also showed up to give his well wishes: fan-favorite director Taika Waititi. Along with directing, Waititi also played the role of Korg in Thor: Ragnarok, and seeing him at the event had fans wondering if maybe Korg could appear in Avengers 4. Feige has even said at one point that he has future plans for the character.

Fans are also wondering if any of the Community stars who attended the event could be in Avengers 4. The appearance of Yvette Nicole Brown is prompting speculation since Community stars have also made it into Marvel movies (take Danny Pudi and Donald Glover, for instance).

Of course, this meetup could just be Joe Russo getting some of his friends together who want to celebrate his new accomplishment. Fans of the MCU are always going to speculate if these get-togethers mean anything, but it could just be that are friends just spending the day together and nothing else.

The photos also give fans a good look at Chris Evans without his beard since he will be sporting a new look for Avengers 4. We assume that many of the people in this photo will be back to the set of A4 for reshoots this week, but we don’t know for sure who is still filming. If Pom Klementieff is filming still, that could give some insight into what is going to happen to the Guardians in this movie.

We will just have to wait to find out, but it is always fun to try and put the pieces together. Also, we just love seeing the cast hanging out together and knowing how close many of them are.
