16 celebrities who should definitely host SNL this season

This Christmas season will be spent in the ocean! Aquaman is set to hit theaters December 14, so he’s an ideal host for this next season of SNL. While we haven’t really seen Momoa take on much comedy, the actor has become one of the internet’s boyfriends and that means it would be great for Saturday Night Live ratings and help get everyone pumped up for Aquaman.

We’ve been given a splash of Arthur Curry in Justice League, where his character was introduced amongst the superhero cast of Wonder Woman, the Flash, Batman, and Cyborg. Now with a movie solely dedicated to Aquaman, we think Momoa deserves some SNL stage time to help promote the film… and perhaps poke fun at the aquatic hero.

It’d be even better if SNL also brought on Nicole Kidman and Amber Heard (they play Atlanna and Mera respectively). But Jason is a character all on his own (just saying “my man” makes us instantly think of him) and to see him take on SNL would be a treat for his fans and SNL loyalists alike.
